Life is defined as a potential for transformation. Life does not imply maintaining the status quo or “immortality,” which is defined as the absence of death.
Life wouldn’t be nearly as entertaining if everything was predictable. The fact that we’ve been given the grace of life allows us to embrace the obstacles and difficulties that life throws at us, whether it’s a sickness, financial issues, or whatever else is at the base of our suffering.
Daily Dao’s goal is to get all of us more involved in our own cultivation, to really think about our lives, and to pursue the quest for wisdom about understanding oneself.
